(Daughter’s Point of View -See Testimonial Below for Mother’s!) I am so lucky to have found Hallak Cleaners for my wedding dress alterations! I had purchased my dress in February for my September wedding and brought it for alterations to another dressmaking shop in Midland Park, NJ, where my dress was ruined from top to bottom. My mother and I brought my dress in that day to Hallak and Kiymet very calmly looked at all the problems that needed to be fixed – 2 days later I came back for a fitting to see if the length could be fixed and it looked better already. I went back for 3 more fittings in the next 2 weeks and the dress was absolutely perfect! Kiyment had taken my dress home to complete all the work on time and completely reconstructed my dress!! She also hand beaded the back piece that goes behind the corset to make it go with th front of the dress. Kiymet is the ONLY REASON I have something to wear down the aisle next weekend!!! She also fixed my mom’s dress and my maid of honor’s dress, both which were vandalized by the same dressmaker that ruined my gown. THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH!!!! Kiymet did such a beautiful job!!!!

I cannot begin to thank your alteration department in Hackensack enough! We had my daughters wedding gown at another place in Bergen County since April & when we went in August for a fitting the dress had numerous mistakes. After searching online bridal sites, my daughter found your business & contacted your alterations department. Even before seeing the gown she was told that they would work with her & have her dress ready for her September 17 wedding! When we arrived at your shop on August 18, all of the women in your alterations department examined & made suggestions for fixing this nearly ruined gown. Ms. Kiymet was extremely patient & reassuring to my daughter, who was very upset. We were asked to come back in only 2 days for a fitting. I later learned that Ms. Kiymet took the gown home to make repairs so it would be ready that Saturday. Ms. Kiymet has done alterations on my mother of the bride gown, which had been at the same shop & needed repairs also. We were just in Saturday, September 3 & Kiymet has finished both gowns & they came out beautiful! I appreciate your very talented & dedicated seamstresses, especially Kiymet, who basically needed to reconstruct the whole wedding gown & did it in a little over two weeks! Thank you so much for saving this beautiful wedding gown for my daughter! I will continue to let everyone know about the wonderful service Hallak alterations provides

I’m writing to express my appreciation for my recent experience in deal with your company. I found your company through the Association of Wedding Gown Specialists (who I have dealt with before) when I was looking for a dry cleaner to clean the dress I wore as Mother of the Groom. The dress was heavily beaded and my local dry cleaner said they did not have the experience to clean the dress. Initially I contacted another wedding gown restoration company listed on the label of my dress and was very put off by them. They were arrogant and not helpful at all. From the very beginning when I contacted your company I found everyone I talked to over several conversations to be very courteous and helpful. I used you courier service and the dress was shipped back in a special hanging box. The dress has been restored to a beautiful condition by your company.
