1.) Store purse in its dust bag cover or use a natural fiber soft pillow-cover.

2.) Never touch your handbag with dirty hands.

3.) Avoid handling your bag after applying beauty products, such as face foundations or hand creams.

(Also, try to use a cosmetic bag to keep interior clean.)

4.) Try not to use your handbag as a rest to place paper and write notes. Pointed pens can leave impressions and marks through paper rested on firm leathers.

5.) If your handbag has a chain handle, store the chain inside the bag to avoid scratching the outside leather when the bag is resting.

6.) For storage, use bubble wrap to stuff your handbags as it does not attract moths in the same way as tissue paper does.
