Your Fall 2021 Fashion Favorites

Your fall 2021 fashion favorites start here – with Hallak. With more and more cooler days (and nights), you may be taking steps to finish your seasonal wardrobe switch.  Before hanging up your fall / winter wear, we suggest inspecting each piece.

Check for any ‘invisible’ stains that may have become visible.  Even with the proper storage, this may happen. (Unfortunately, it happens to the best of us.) It is also the perfect time for a wardrobe refresh. When it comes to ladies autumn clothing picks, think moody florals, plaids, houndstooth, and stripes. Heading out on a cooler day? Don’t forget your over-sized puffer, fur coat, shearling or modern leather jacket.

And for the gentlemen. The runway was bringing us soft knits, warm brown, flannel shirts, and boxy cardigans. When it comes to casual pants, a looser fitting denim is trending. Like the ladies, puffers are here to stay. And did you know that we are a preferred cleaners (and repairs) for Canada Goose and Moncler. In addition to our local clients, we have many out-of-state puffer jacket friends sending over their cold weather favorites.

Before you store any of your summer clothes away, here are some tips:

  • Leave some tanks and tees for layering. (Spring comes around sooner than you think! Sigh or relief?)
  • Clean all items prior to storage. (This will help with those ‘invisible’ turned visible stains.)

Pink Pride 2021. During the month of October, Hallak Cleaners will be donating a portion of its proceeds to further fund Breast Cancer Awareness.   This is an annual ‘drive’ that we take quite seriously.  Breast cancer has most likely affected you or someone you know and love.  We can all do our part.

The September 2021 Fall Style Sneak Peek is here.  While we understand that you may not be excited (or ready) to welcome fall, you cannot deny the changing weather especially today.

Windy days, like this one, makes us reach for a trench or light sweater prior to heading out. For many, the issue is that you weren’t prepared. Sure, fall officially started but still..

Allow today to be a reminder that it is time to pull a few items for your seasonal switch. We wouldn’t recommend a complete wardrobe overhaul, but it would be good to pull a few key pieces

Perfect Transition Pieces

  • Great blazer
  • Basic light pullover 
  • Suede/leather boots

For those who love fashion (like us!), this change of season also means a wardrobe update. And there are not many things better than that.   Before you head out shopping or hop online, consider the upcoming fashion trends. Will they play well with your current wardrobe? What will their care be like?  If you are going to invest in garments, care should certainly be considered.
