September Fall Preparation

Have you started to take a look at your fall fashion?

Have you began your September fall preparation?  Next weeks, autumn begins. And as you may have noticed, the cooler weather has already begun to creep in.

In the New York/New Jersey area, transitional seasons like spring and fall can be a bit tricky to navigate. Cool mornings lead to warm days, which only lead to cooler evenings. While we do not recommend a full seasonal clothing switch right away, you may wish to consider pulling a few items such as:

  • Uggs
  • Parkas
  • Long-sleeve Tees
  • Lightweight Sweaters

With every seasonal change, our team tries to remind clients to clean all garments (and accessories) prior to storing.  Things happen, we understand. However, this just means you should begin inspecting items prior to the weather changing.  Stains that were once invisible may discolor over time – and no-one likes these types of suprises!

Due to a total service outage, Hallak Cleaners is using this

For the third time this year we are experiencing serious problems and disruptions with our telephone service.

Enough. We are in the process of migrating to a new service provider with new hardware and phones.

By necessity – we will be using this temporary phone number until we can get our existing numbers ported over to our new service. This process typically takes up to 30 days.

Spring window treatment care is an important spring cleaning to-do. Unfortunately, your treatments can often be overlooked or put off to the side. After all, they are not the easiest to care for.

Spring 2022 casual wear care is just another one of our specialities.  Last year, Hallak added wash-and-fold to our list of services.

Originally, we wanted to provide an extra level of care. During the lockdown, laundromats were closed and many households were running without the usual assistance. Early on, the team started to reach out to clients regarding a laundry service.

As it has remained successful, we have decided to keep wash-and-fold as a permanent service.  Laundry is ideal for items such as:

Let’s start our spring 2022 planning for your fall wedding. Recently engaged and ready to go? Or rescheduled from 2020 or last year?  Either way, Hallak’s team is here to help.

Without taking the pandemic into consideration, it is safe to say that the New York area prefers September, October and November celebrations.  So now is the perfect time for both engaged and recently married couples to check off some to-dos on their checklist.

Pre Wedding 

Each wedding garment is as unique as its wearer.  Therefore, we kindly ask that we evaluate your items in-person to provide actual pricing. However, we can offer estimates for some of our wedding services.
