Free Return Shipping to Hamptons

That’s right, free return shipping to Hamptons.  We heard you – and we listened.  Currently, many of our customers have (understandably) relocated outside of the New York Metropolitan area.  Even with miles apart, Hallak wanted to let you know that we are here for you.  Therefore, it only made sense to provide this type of reach-out to our friends staying in the Hamptons, upstate NY, etc. (For shipping details, please see below.)

With so much changed, Hallak is doing its best to adapt to our community’s new safety guidelines and needs.  As you may already know, we are now offering wash and fold services. For this level of garment and linen care, there is a 5lb minimum at $8.50 per lb.  Dry cleaning is also still available – and with a 15% discount.

Complimentary pick-up and delivery routes for Manhattan, Westchester, Greenwich, Bergen County and the Short Hills neighborhood are still open.  Both retail locations have temporary hours of Monday through Saturday (9am – 3pm).  If you wish to schedule a pick-up or questions about shipping, please call (212) 832-0750 or email info@hallak.com.  Both voicemail and emails are monitored regularly.

When shipping, please include a piece of paper within the package or box with the following information:

• Contact/Account Name
• Home Address
• Return Address
• Phone Number
• Email Address
• Any Special Instructions

Once we receive your items, a team member will call you with any questions or concerns.  If you wish, you may email info@hallak.com prior to any shipping so our team can keep a lookout. (Some clientele prefer to reach out in this manner. We will do whatever it takes to make you feel most comfortable.)

In our current state, the Hallak family would like to stay in touch with our loyal customers. Along with our email blasts and social media posts, we will continue with regular posts right here.

Temporary Store Hours Reminder

Both New York and New Jersey locations are open Monday through Saturday, 9am -3pm. Complimentary pick-up and delivery still available as always. Recently, we have added free return shipping to the Hamptons.

If you are visiting either store, please be sure to wear a face covering or mask.  If you do not have one, please let us know so we may provide one. Let’s all do our part to keep each other safe and healthy.

Unfortunately, our team has dramatically decreased. However, we have hope that we will all be together again soon enough.

Dear Valued Clients and friends,

First and foremost, the Hallak family would like to offer our thoughts and prayers to everyone during these very trying times in dealing with Covid-19. New Yorkers and the tri-state area are made up of fighters and survivors, and this time will be no different. (Please be sure to scroll below to see our temporary New York store hours.)

We have been getting many calls asking about the effect dry cleaning has on Covid-19. The CDC advises that the drycleaning process, which includes cleaning and pressing, is effective on most viruses.

Laundering at approximately  150 F, drying and pressing has also been found effective on most viruses.  We will continue to monitor the data from the CDC and WHO and update our processes if necessary.

At Hallak Cleaners, we are doing our best to maintain operations for those who are sending in garments for cleaning and/or sanitizing. At this time, we would like to encourage our customers who are home to start your spring clean up NOW instead of waiting until April and May. In order to generate work to keep at least half of our staff working, Hallak Cleaners will be offering a 15% discount on all spring cleaning of garments, sheets and household items. It’s a great way to clean, sanitize and save.

Hallak cleaners has also secured and should be receiving any day now, a CDC approved sanitizer which we will allow us to come to your home and fog rooms you would like disinfected. The product is limited and will be on a first come basis until our supplies run out. We are equipped with white jumpsuits, gloves and masks to keep us protected from each other. The same will apply in cases where drapes need to be taken down, assuming we are allowed into your building. Please call Joe Hallak for further details.
