Rutgers Holiday Drive for the Troops Donation

Throughout the year, we try to do our best in supporting various charities and local community organizations.  Last week, we shipped out a box full of items to ensure a perfect holiday care package to our troops through the Rutgers Holiday Drive.  You can do the same with many other programs such as this one. Some items that we suggest: hand and feet warmers, individual hand sanitizers, playing cards, magazines,..and candy canes for some holiday cheer!

Hello there. I wanted to let the world know that Hallak Cleaners was above and beyond my expectations. I went the Hackensack Shop and worked with Kiymet Lale. She was so amazing with my dress fittings. Both my sister, sister-in-law and myself worked with her. Kiymet has an amazing eye and wonderful talent with bridal dress alterations. I felt like a princess and am forever grateful for the amazing work by Kiymet. Please be sure that she is recognized and commended for her amazing work. Today, we were excited about a visit from fellow members of the Association of Wedding Gown Specialists –  Mr. Leema and Mrs. Dudu Mofokeng, from Pretoria, South Africa. After attending advanced classes at the Drycleaning and Laundry Institute in Maryland, they stopped by to spend the morning with us at our main plant. With professional backgrounds in other businesses, they have spent the past three years building a successful dry cleaning and laundry operation in their home country. They are very passionate about this industry and is was a real pleasure to spend some time together. They are preparing to build a brand new and expanded facility in Pretoria from the ground up. All of us at Hallak wish them the very best with their exciting project!
