“Hallak Cleaners restored my mother’s 1957 gown beautifully and carefully, and then pressed it for the wedding. They were so careful with the delicate silk and lace fabrics. My daughter just got married in it. It looked perfect. Incredible, really. And the original wearer, her 93 year old grandmother and namesake, was there to share the joy. Thank you so much Mr. Hallak and the fabulous bridal staff for using your skill to a help make such a special thing possible.” Laura

Rammy the tailor at Hallak Cleaners was great. Very professional and skilled. Thank you for the wonderful alterations on both my daughter’s bridal gown and my gown. Jacqui
They were amazing at Hallak Cleaners. I got both my dresses altered for my wedding there and it was perfect. They were so helpful and nice. The price was reasonable compared to what I have heard others pay for wedding alterations. I would definitely recommend them to everyone. Kiminshura D.

My Cat ‘Ate’ My Wedding Dress Bridal emergencies unfortunately happen. One weekend, a bride learned that her cat decided to ‘restyle’ her beautiful, designer wedding gown by scratching holes into the pleated bottom portion of the skirt – and emailed us immediately. With her wedding the following weekend, you can imagine how upset she was. Along with her email, she provided an image of the damage. We evaluated the situation and let her know what work was needed. Happy to say that the bride has her dress and is very pleased with the results! “I wanted to thank you and your team for fixing my dress on such a short notice. It looks great….” K. Artemyeva (New York, Y)
“My name is Marie Hunt and I am the owner of Headpiece.com. Hallak Couture Cleaners is where I send every bridal client who wishes to have their vintage headpiece or veil re-designed by us. Hallak Couture Cleaners is the only place I recommend! They have cleaned my own custom designs including heirloom christening gowns, communion dresses, and most recently my hand-designed mother of the bride gown along with my daughter’s wedding gown and French lace veils. They know it all when it comes to cleaning and preservation. We will be featuring this incredibly tedious process on our upcoming blog so you can see the value of having the experts do it right. Join us on our blog on March “Fourteenth” and make sure you go to Hallak for a detailed evaluation, cleaning, and preservation of the most important gown you have ever worn in your life! https://headpiece.com/blog/” (Marie Hunt, March 2018)
“I had the most amazing experience working with Hallak. I purchased my dress at Glamour Closet and needed quite a few alterations. I had three fittings and each one was better than the previous one. They made each change exactly as requested. Their work greatly exceeded my expectations. I also appreciated the overall tone and feel of Hallak – they were attentive and helpful, but not at all pretentious. I felt very comfortable and I knew they were happy to accommodate my needs. I highly recommend working with Hallak to get the perfect bridal dress fit.” (As found on The Knot, 12/2017)
