March 2021 Shirt Laundry Reminder

It’s your March 2021 shirt laundry reminder. In case you forgot, we have three levels of shirt laundry!

For many, the button-down is a necessary wardrobe staple. Whether working in the office or remotely, clean dress shirts are essential. Unfortunately, this daily wardrobe piece are not the easiest to care for. Stain removal, general wear and other obstacles can make shirt cleaning a hassle.

And what is the most ‘difficult‘ party? Pressing to perfection!  That’s why you have Hallak on your side.  Take a peek below at our three different levels. Whether you choose Basic, Premium or Deluxe, please know that you will be thrilled with your shirt laundry.

Basic

Mostly machine finished with the basic hand touch-up to eliminate any impressions. This is suitable for a majority of shirts.

 DeLuxe

Machine finished, then followed by an extensive hand touch-up. After finishing, we will package your shirts individually to maintain the quality finish.

Premium

Each shirt are pressed to perfection by hand, inspected  and packaged individually.Furthermore, sleeves are stuffed to preserve the fine French-laundry look.

2021 Penny Sale – Ends Tomorrow!

Hallak’s 2021 Penny Sale is ending tomorrow. There is still time to take advantage of this annual event.

For many of our longtime customers, they know all about the annual anniversary sale. In fact, we often receive emails right around January asking for the start date. This is your friendly reminder that the Penny Sale ends tomorrow, February, 27, 2021.

Fortunately, there is still time to get together your three-of-a-kind sets. You will pay regular price for two of the items – and the third item’s cleaning cost is a penny.  Suits, dresses and coats are welcome!  This sale is for our award-winning dry cleaning.

Of course, you can still schedule a pick-up for your wash-and-fold too. Remember, our laundry service is simply a wash, dry and fold. If you would like specific care requests, we kindly ask that you choose dry cleaning for those items.

Throughout this past year, you have been here for us. So, the Hallak family knew that we had to keep this annual Penny Sale tradition alive. Thanksgiving Day Fashion

What does your Thanksgiving Day fashion look like?  While we plan all month, the day seems to just come up behind us. You have given thought to your turkey’s dressing, but what about what you’e going to wear?

The holiday may look a little different this year. Even so, you can still dress how you typically would. If it’s more of a casual day, consider a nice sweater, (loose-fitting!) cotton dress, denim, etc. For those who choose to dress up a bit more, a nice suit, perfectly pressed button-down, elegant dress or another formal look.

It is easy to drop food or drink on while serving – and eating.  If you find yourself with a stain, please do not attempt to clean yourself. And if you do, remember pat don’t rub. Way too often do we see fabric disturbance due to aggressive stain-removal attempts. Both locations are open on Friday so you can simply schedule a pick-up or stop by. Trust the tough stains to our professionals in our Spot Department.

Thanksgiving Day Preparation starts now…if you didn’t start already. Even if your holiday looks a little different this year, there are still plenty of reasons to celebrate so let’s make it special!

While turkey day will soon be here, there is still time to inspect those holiday table linens. When storing linens, some ‘invisible stains’ may start to discolor and show.
