Spring 2018 Bridal and Wedding Trends
By looking at spring 2018 bridal and wedding trends, we have been spring-daydreaming these last few weeks – despite the snow and cold weather. Today is one of the first real spring-feeling days (kind of). For some, there were a few short flurries earlier this morning. However, the day is turning into something resembling warmer days…and we have hope!
Let’s daydream a little more…here are some of our spring 2018 bridal and wedding trends:
As we all know by now, spring can be uncooperative some days. A cape is a beautiful and logical way to keep a bride a little warmer during the ceremony and pictures. How pretty is this look? It doesn’t take away from the gorgeous gown at all.
When you think of a wedding gown, you may simply think ‘white’. However, black accents are becoming more popular this season and most likely the next. We think it look so pretty!
Flowers have always been a staple at weddings. However, they are always looking for new ways to incorporate them into the decor. Floral ceilings are absolutely stunning. They are perfect for elegant events – and the most romantic at heart.
There is something to be said about traditions. However, there is nothing wrong with tweaking them a little bit. Many brides still opt to have a bridal shower. Today’s couples are increasingly engaging in co-ed wedding showers. After all, it is about the couple so it totally makes sense. With this in mind, co-ed showers take a little more work and creativity so that all guests are welcomed properly.
If you are engaged or know someone who is, you will definitely want to check out an upcoming Bridal Sale at our 2nd Avenue location. Please feel free to share with a friend!
